Air Liquide Industrial U.S. LP announces price increases for its bulk industrial gases – oxygen, nitrogen, argon, hydrogen and helium.
Prices will be increased effective immediately as allowed by customer contracts as follows:
Oxygen and nitrogen by 10 percent.
Argon and hydrogen by 15 percent.
Helium by an average of 30 percent.
Monthly facility fees between 30 and 50 percent; depending upon customer installation, current pricing and contract terms.
The increases are primarily due to growing costs of equipment and storage vessels, labor, transportation, and in some geographical locations, the cost of electricity. A worldwide shortage of helium is contributing to supply cost increases.
